This site has been developed to support you in the use of the e-KSF - the online tool developed in partnership with the Department of Health to support the Knowledge and Skills Framework (KSF).

e-KSF release 6.2.4 goes live on 1st August 2010.
e-KSF version 6.2.4 is an important release containing a number of features to give you more local control of e-KSF processes, so that you can solve problems at the local administrator level rather than resorting to the support team. For example, users who have forgotten passwords or usernames now have a much more powerful way of getting reminders, and they can also contact their local administrator via online forms for help. Administrators can also help Reviewers to change the type or status of a signed-off review, in order to correct any mistakes. The release also contains a number of more minor functionality improvements.
All registered e-KSF administrators will receive further details about 6.2.4 by email. Once the release is launched, you'll also be able to read full details by logging into e-KSF and clicking the "what's new" button.
It's not too late to link your e-KSF and ESR systems together for a joined-up approach to staff appraisal and development.
Due to continuing high demand for links between e-KSF to ESR, we have now scheduled 4 specific link batches in 2010. If your organisation is in England and has not yet linked e-KSF to ESR, allowing these two key systems to share data, then we urge you to investigate this option. Linking the systems together doesn’t cost you anything, and has great benefits in reduced data entry and avoidance of data errors, especially as you roll out e-KSF for storing reviews and PDPs.
