Future e-KSF Developments


Although the e-KSF is a fully functioning and stable tool, it continues to develop using a prototyping approach to system development. Using this approach gives us a greater opportunity to respond to changing service and user needs.

We listen to your feedback, whether you send that via email, tell us face to face, or pass it to your KSF lead to feed back through the KSF networks and then discuss with the UK KSF Group of the NHS Staff Council about priorities for development. There are a limited amount of items we can develop, so we need to decide with them what to do first then roughly twice a year, we launch a major update to e-KSF. These updates focus on improving the usability of the tool to ease the implementation of the system within organisations.

Updates happen automatically and there are no actions or software upgrades that you need to worry about. Updates are documented within the ‘What’s New’ section of the e-KSF Tool (which can be accessed once you have logged in to the tool) or will be published on this site. If you have any specific ideas about how you’d like to see the tool change, please log onto the tool and submit these through the support button on the tool and we’ll do our best to include your ideas in future releases or alternatively please email support@e-ksf.org.
