Good Practice From the NHS
We aim to use this page to communicate examples of good practice that we find within NHS Organisations who are successfully embedding the NHS KSF and e-KSF.
e-Tool Developed by Hull and East Yorkshire NHS Trust
Hull and East Yorkshire NHS Trust have developed an e-tool which sits on the organisations intranet and is a collation of step by step documentation associated with the PDR processes within the Trust.
Sara Pearson and Patrick Appleyard, Senior Education and Development Advisors at Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals were responsible for creating this resource. "We developed this tool in response to feedback and evaluation we received from reviewers within the organisation who were experiencing difficulties creating objectives and completing PDR documentation. The e-information module provides ‘real life’ examples and guidance for staff to assist with the completion of a quality NHS KSF performance development review (PDR). It has been developed to use as a practical interactive tool and provides working examples of both paper-based and e-KSF PDR’s. This will hopefully relieve any anxieties that reviewers have in completing a KSF PDR.”
